CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA – Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co., the industry’s largest manufacturer of refrigerated trailers and a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, flatbeds, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers is pleased to announce that Mark Glasgow has been appointed as Chief of Sales.
Glasgow has worked in the truck-trailer industry for 40 years, starting off holding several local and national branch sales positions at TrailMobile, and then managing a start-up Carrier Transicold dealership in Chicago. In 1995, Glasgow moved to California and accepted the position as National Sales Manager at Utility’s corporate office. For the past 27 years, Glasgow has lead dealer sales support throughout the United States and Canada. “We have a strong corporate sales team that has been effective in coordinating sales efforts with our dealer network and customers. I look forward in developing even stronger relations and managing the entire sales process,” said Glasgow.
As Chief of Sales, Glasgow will continue his current role plus oversee the overall sales planning for the company including sales administration and production scheduling. “Mark has always been an integral part of our organization,” said Steve Bennett, President and Chief Operating Officer for Utility. “His leadership and his understanding of our business, the industry, and our customers’ needs will continue to contribute to our ongoing efforts in providing high quality, efficient and productive products in the market.”
