Innovation and Sustainability on Display at TMC

e1000 all-electric TRU

Thermo King is a leading innovator in zero-emissions transport refrigeration units (TRU). Our latest product, the e1000 all-electric TRU for battery electric class 5 – 7 trucks, is part of Thermo King’s evolve™ portfolio of all-electric products.

  • The first large-capacity electric TRU offered in the market.
  • Matches the performance of the leading diesel offerings.
  • Provides enhanced reliability, lower weight and reduced noise.

Thermo King has partnered with different manufacturers to ensure vehicle compatibility along with the most efficient direct DC electric power take-off connection possible.

Remote Operating Center (ROC)

Thermo King’s Remote Operating Center (ROC) is the transportation industry’s most comprehensive roadside assistance program.

  • Provides rapid, innovative roadside assistance for TRUs by combining technology and human expertise.
  • Delivers 24/7 real-time, remote monitoring with predictive analytics that uses a revolutionary algorithm to predict failures days or weeks before they occur.
  • Provides guided response by a team of friendly experts to achieve a fast reply and complete resolution to any problem.

Precedent S-750i

The Precedent S-750i is an innovative, connected and energy-efficient solution that strengthens the cold chain and helps customers reduce their carbon footprint. The enhanced operational efficiencies of the S-750i leverage the proven performance and reliability of Thermo King’s Precedent platform and introduce several first-use features.

  • Three-speed engine to optimize efficiencies at fresh and frozen temperatures.
  • Next-generation control system with precise temperature control.
  • Diesel electric architecture optimized for shore power integration, which makes the S-750i an ideal investment for customers using or considering shore power operation long-term.

Utilizing the S-Series engine, the S-750i meets current and proposed California Air Resources Board (CARB) Ultra-Low Emission Transport Refrigeration Unit (ULETRU) emissions without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

evolve electric trailer

Initial customer testing of Thermo King’s innovative evolve electric trailer was completed in 2022. Through the 2,500 hours of trial runs, the electric trailer kept food and other critical cargo fresh. Trade show attendees will learn more about Thermo King’s electric trailer technology and how it will help decarbonize the cold chain.

Next Generation TriPac

Show attendees will be the first to learn about Thermo King’s Next Generation TriPac auxiliary power unit (APU), which is planned to hit the market by early Q2.
